Congratulations to the entire house league program for another amazing season at our rinks throughout Vaughan! We saw our players and coaches continue to develop and have a competitive and fun time doing it! The on-ice season ended with some fantastic games on our Championship Sunday!
This past weekend was nothing short of amazing for the City of Vaughan Hockey Association (CVHA), as our entire House League program took to the ice for an unforgettable season finale. From the youngest skaters to our U18s, the energy, excitement, and sportsmanship on display truly captured what community hockey is all about.
Having the full program on the ice throughout the weekend was a special moment for everyone involved. It gave our players, coaches, families, and volunteers a chance to reflect on how far we've come this season — and how much fun we’ve had along the way.
What stood out most was the incredible development of our players. The improvement from September to now has been nothing short of inspiring. Our coaches deserve a huge round of applause for the time, passion, and effort they put into teaching, mentoring, and motivating their teams all year long. The impact they’ve made was on full display this weekend, not just in the improved skills we saw on the ice, but in the smiles, fist bumps, and team spirit that filled the rinks.
The weekend also featured competitive elimination games that brought intensity and excitement, capping the season with high-stakes matchups and unforgettable memories. Congratulations to all teams who competed and gave it their all — and a special shout-out to our 2024-2025 CVHA House League Champions:
