The CVHA is proud to offer the CVHA House League Skills Development Program to our current house league members!

CVHA_SDP_Logo.pngPlayer development is the key to having fun and enjoying the great game of hockey. This program is designed specifically for our house league players who are looking for some extra ice time and to work on developing their skills. During these sessions players wear full hockey equipment. Each session is 50 minutes in length.

The CVHA Skills Development Program is available to our U7(2018), U8(2017), U9(2016), and U10(2015) players.  The session is a mix of all age groups, but is focused on the critical skills used in hockey. Drills will be focused on power skating, shooting, puck control and other game elements.  This doesn't feature game or scrimmage play, but is designed to work on the fundamental skills required to play. Players should expect to rotate through different skill stations each week and experience many repetitions, which are key to skill development.

The program is run by experienced instructors and coaches from within our CVHA House League and Vaughan Rangers programs. They are passionate about teaching the game of hockey and helping players develop their skills.

Note: Registration is for the full 10 sessions. Individual or drop-in sessions are not available. No refunds will be issued.
                                         
                                                                  
REGISTRATION (Not Yet Open for 24-25 Season)

CVHA_Practice_2.pngRegistration is done through our partner in registration, SportsHeadz.  Once you click through the registration site, each family will be required to set up an account for their players in order to register.  As we role out the CVHA Skill Development Programs, we will look to expand the capacity and to other age groups based on demand.
Right now you may only register if you are a house league player in U7 (2018) / U8 (2017) / U9 (2016) / U10 (2015).  This is not available for Select/A/AA players.  Those registering outside of this age range will be declined and refunded. We encourage you to register immediately if you are interested as we anticipate a strong demand for the program. Please click the blue "Register Here" circle above to register!
