HL Coaches (City of Vaughan Hockey)

Congratulations to the entire house league program for another amazing season at our rinks throughout Vaughan!  We saw our players and coaches continue to develop and have a competitive and fun time doing it!  The on-ice season ended with some fantastic games on our Championship Sunday!

Congratulations goes out to our very own CVHA President, Barry Harte, on being awarded the King Charles III Coronation medal by Vaughan-Woodbridge MP Francesco Sorbara at a ceremony in Vaughan.

Let’s face it, referees can sometimes frustrate us, and at times even cause some of us to lose control of our emotions. We may feel like they are unfair, calling for penalties that we don’t see and letting the other team get away with everything. The truth is, referees are human and make mistakes. They aren’t out to get you, and they generally get things right. 

While the House League may be off for the holidays, it doesn't mean hockey stops!!! Coaches, take advantage of a great opportunity to be part of the Tim Hortons Coaches Open House with the Toronto Maple Leafs!  You get to head down to the Scotiabank Arena, hear from Craig Berube, Brendan Shanahan and Brad Treliving, and you even get to watch the Leafs and Capitals game day skates!!!
