U7 (2015) will play cross ice Ice surface will be created using foam dividers . Game play will happen between the blue lines.
U8(2014) will play modified ice . Ice surface will be created using full size aluminum boards between the blue line and the hash marks.
In both examples above only 1 game will be played at a time.
Referee(s) will call games and Standard Penalties will be called.
Changing on the fly with regular faceoffs.
4 on 4 with goalies.

Please note due to size of our Tournament we cannot schedule around House League games and Scheduling request may be difficult. Please ensure you have cleared your entire weekend from all House League activities.
Based on the number and caliber of teams entered we will tier the following divisions to ensure competitive game play.
U8 & U9
NYHL Tier 1 , OMHA AAA and MHA Gold can expect to play in Tier 1.
OMHA & Alliance A, AA & AAA U9 Teams Welcome
We are not planning to tier in the U7, U10-throughto U18 divisions at this time. Our objective is to run balanced and competitive divisions within each grouping. Should these divisions grow in size that we can tier and still have viable divisions, then we will consider tiering.
This tournament is open to Select teams only. It is not open to House League Teams or AE 1-2 or AE 3-5 or York Simcoe MD teams that carry AE Competitive Hockey Rosters.

Hotel Policy
As a term of condition for acceptance into our Tournament , Teams requiring hotels, must stay in one of the Host Hotels as outlined in the Tournament Tab. Should you have any issues booking with one of the Host Hotels, you must contact our Office ASAP. Acceptance to Tournament is contingent on only using Host Hotels
Confirmation of Acceptance
Your payment is NOT your Confirmation of Acceptance. All teams will receive a separate and distinct email “Confirming Acceptance” into the tournament.
Teams MUST provide a Hockey Canada Roster & League Travel Permit . Please forward as soon as available. We require them in advance of the Tournament to ensure you are a eligible to participate and are placed in the correct division. Email HCR Roster to [email protected]. ONLY Players and Team Officials on approved Hockey Canada Rosters will be permitted to participate. No acceptations will be made.
