The Ontario Hockey Federation and GTHL, of which the CVHA is a member, have mandated that every player must have at least one parent/guardian complete the Respect In Sport - Parent on-line program prior to the start of the upcoming season or they will become ineligible to participate in league play.

Respect in Sport – Parent Program is a short online program that we hope assists in the prevention of bullying, abuse, harassment, and discrimination. The program’s mission is to empower participants to recognize signs of inappropriate behavior and eliminate it from the game, through a culture of respect.

The due date for the completion of this program for Parents of House League Players is 10 days after their Registration is completed  or September 1st , which comes first.  Once you have completed the course the CVHA Office will be notified and you child we become eligible to participate this season.
No Player in the CVHA will be eligible for any on ice or off ice activity until the parent has completed the on line course and the CVHA has received confirmation of parent course completion.

In CVHA terms this means your child’s name will not be forwarded to Convenors for inclusion in on ice pre season assessments, practices, exhibition or regular season games.
