CVHA Update on Hockey Canada Suspension of Play

Dear Players, Parents, Team and Game Officials,

I hope this letter finds everyone in the best of health and looking forward to making the best of their extended March Break.

These are challenging times and unfortunately during these times, some difficult decisions are required to be made.

It saddens me to have to communicate such decision's, but effective today, our House League, Select - NYHL, "A" and "AA" -GTHL programs have all been cancelled for the remainder of the year.  Our scheduled banquets for both the Rangers and the House League programs have been cancelled as well. 

All awards, gifts, photos, and plaques for both Rangers and House League programs will be distributed by team and all banquet tickets purchased by parents/siblings will be reimbursed.  A date, time and location for the distribution of the items has yet to be determined.  Once we receive the product from our vendors, we will make the arrangements for the distribution of the items through the Vice-Presidents/Convenors/Team Officials of the program.  We will be distributing them by team in order of age divisions, as the order was submitted based on banquet dates.

Just to clarify:  All CVHA House League and Vaughan Rangers ice will be cancelled for both practice and game purposes.  There will be no ice purchased through the CVHA office for any individuals/teams.  I will forward additional information as it comes available.
