CVHA Toronto Marlies Community Festival
Submitted By CVHA Office on Monday, October 30, 2017

On Wednesday October 25, the CVHA in partnership with the Toronto Marlies, held a Community Festival at Al Palladini Community Center.  The event was a huge success for all who participated!  CVHA and Vaughan Rangers players and parents enjoyed an evening of on and off ice activity. Free hot dogs and hot chocolate courtesy of Tim Hortons and Maple Lodge Farms. Toronto Maple Leaf mascot Duke the Dog entertained the fans and tossed giveaways to the crowd.  Also on hand were Toronto Leaf Alumni Al Iafrate and Mike Jonson  for an autograph session.

The Toronto Marlies held an on ice practice session under the direction of Marlies Head Coach Sheldon Keefe. At the conclusion of the practice the Marlies players worked on ice with the Vaughan Rangers Tyke Select Blue team.

Before and after the Marlies practice, Greg Schell and his staff from the Toronto Maple Leafs, had an on-ice Developmental Session with the Vaughan Rangers Atom and Peewee  A & AA teams. The fun filled evening ended with  the entire Toronto Marlies Team in an autograph session.
