To All CVHA Parents,

Now that everyone should be settled back in after the Holidays, the CVHA would like to welcome everyone back to Hockey and would like to wish everyone a "HAPPY NEW YEAR"!!

The Fall portion of our program was eventful to say the least. With the start of the season commencing later this season, had a trickledown effect on the program, due to the late Select, A, & AA tryouts. It created a delay in the proper assessing and balancing of our House League program. Nonetheless, with the perseverance of our House League Volunteers, they met the challenge.

With the Winter portion of the program underway, we would like to wish everyone a successful and enjoyable hockey experience.

Some dates to remember throughout the remaining portion of the 2022/23 season:

"Hockey Day in Vaughan" Saturday January 14^th is "BACK" after a two-year hiatus. On this day, we bring representing teams from our CVHA House League, Vaughan Rangers Select, "A" & "AA" programs under one roof, playing games on all four ice pads throughout the day, to include the hosting of our CVHA Midget HL All-Star game. At 3:00PM-4:30PM we will also be hosting a pleasure skating session for anyone interested, with complimentary hot chocolate for those participating (Helmets are required).
"Team Picture Sessions" will be commencing the week of January 16^th. All teams within the program have been designated their picture times, your coaches will be sharing the appropriate information.
We are hosting our annual "Vaughan Rangers Memorial Select Tournament" on the weekend of January 27^th. Best of Luck to all the teams completing. Come out and show some support!!
"CVHA's Annual Volunteer Appreciation Night" will be held at the Venetian Banquet Hall on Wednesday February 15^th. All volunteers within our program will be receiving an invitation to this event. It's our way of expressing our appreciation for all they do for the kids and the program.
"Vaughan Rangers Banquets" & "CVHA House League Banquets" will be commencing the third week of March and into the first week of April. Once the dates are officially established for your teams, a confirmation of these dates will be provided by your team officials
"CVHA House League Championship Day" Always an exciting time within our program. The date is Sunday April 2^nd. Come out and watch some exciting hockey and remember to come early as parking spots are at a premium that day!!
"SPRING TRYOUTS ARE BACK"!! The tryouts for our U10 to U18 Vaughan Rangers "AA", "A" & "Select" teams and will be held in May this year. Please check our website www.vaughanhockey.com for updates and schedules.
