As the Fall 2021 Hockey Season approaches there are many questions being asked regarding Covid 19 Policies and Minor Hockey.  At CVHA we are continually seeking the most current information and direction from our governing bodies, GTHL, OHF, Hockey Canada, as well as local Health Officials.

As more information is available to us, our objective is to keep our membership fully informed.  As we implement plans for a “Safe Return to Hockey”, we will use direct parent email as well as online website announcements to communicate to our membership.
The 2021/22 season is promising to be an eventful year, as the CVHA will be celebrating its 30th Anniversary.  Events are planned for throughout the season, as well as the ongoing posting of photos and memorable moments from over the years on our website and through social media. More 30th Anniversary Event details to follow…

I would like to announce the returning members and new member to the CVHA’s 2021/22 Executive Board. Treasurer Ron Romano; VP Vaughan Rangers Joe DiMaria; VP House League Anthony Magagna; VP House League Jason Cohn; Director’s At Large Emilio Carinci, Gianni DeFranco & Laurie Morris; and Referee In-Chief Tony Spagnuolo. Joe DiMaria has been elected to the position of Vice President Vaughan Rangers and new member to the Board Laurie Morris, has been elected to the position of Director At Large.  Congratulations to all. These executive positions are volunteer roles.   I am forever thankful and grateful for being able to work alongside these individuals creating the best minor hockey program experience for our community children, at the same time creating memorable moments to last a lifetime.

I would also like to thank Rocco Alonzi, who stepped away from his role at VP Vaughan Rangers and our Executive Board earlier this year. Over the past 25 years Rocco held various volunteer positions within the CVHA which; being a coach, Select delegate, as well as Executive Board positions of Referee In-Chief and Vice President of the Vaughan Rangers program. It was a pleasure volunteering alongside Rocco for the many of those years. Many goals were achieved along the way as we strived to create a competitive program that was both enjoyable and memorable for all. I am hopeful to have Rocco attend an event throughout this season so we can acknowledge and show our appreciation for his many years of contribution to our program.  In the meantime, on behalf of the CVHA’s Executive Board, our volunteers, parents, and players……Rocco Alonzi, Thank you.
